I'm a coding bootcamp Software Engineer graduate since December 2020 and am currently employed as a Frontend Web Developer on-site in Sacramento, CA, USA. I am willing and able to work on-site or hybrid in Sacramento, but prefer a remote position. My home setup consists of a desktop computer, headset, webcam, and multiple monitors. I have learned to adapt to the syntax and coding style of a company that uses PHP, AJAX and MySQL while I learned React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL in my bootcamp class. I have built many websites, both internally for the company and externally for clients that were referred to the company. Some of those projects were developed in a small team setting, while others were built almost completely by myself.
My previous and current jobs have taught me how to work and communicate heavily in teams and accomplish the task at hand in time-sensitive situations while staying consistent and accurate. I excel individually with frontend development and collectively with a team willing to harmonize and work together despite the different job specifications.
Here is a list of my technological skills I have acquired over the years. I have learned these technologies from my time as a coding bootcamp student to being employed at my current workplace. It is a mixture of old and new languages and I'm willing to add more to this list as time goes on.
Something that's really hard for people to reveal is their strengths and weaknesses. They may find themselves being too boastful if they name their positives. On the other hand, they don't like to point out the negatives within themselves. To me, every strength can have their weakness, and every weakness can have their lesson to learn from. It's all just a matter of seeing the silver lining that shines through.
